The Casper Coyotes junior hockey team was eliminated from the Western States Hockey League playoffs after an 8-2 loss to Ogden on Sunday, to lose the series 2 games to one. The Coyotes lost the opening game of the series on Friday at the Ice Arena 5-3 and then back back to a 3-2 overtime win on Saturday to even the best of 3 affair at a game apiece. Ogden smoked Casper on Sunday with 4 goals on 7 shots in the first period. Casper won their first round playoff series over Salt Lake City 2 games to one and finished first in the WSHL's Mountain division during the regular season.
