The Casper Cutthroats collegiate team moved to 5-0 on the season with their first road win of the year, 13-7 over Northern Colorado in Johnstown on Wednesday night. Blake Johnson and Calvin Elliott went 2 for 5 with 4 RBI's. The Cutthroats will again play Northern Colorado tonight in Johnstown. The Cutthroats will host the Toros Friday night at Lansing Field.

The Casper Oilers split a doubleheader with the Davy Jones Rangers out of Colorado in American Legion baseball Wednesday. In the first game, the Oilers won 2-1 but lost the nightcap 5-3. The Oilers will host the Rangers in another doubleheader with the first game at 11 this morning and the second game around 1:30pm.

The Colorado Rockies rounted the Cincinnati Reds 12-4 Wednesday night in Cincinnati. The Rockies hit 6 home runs with Carlos Gonzalez hitting 3 of those and Troy Tulowitski hitting 2 home runs and going 5 for 5 from the plate. The Rockies had 20 hits for the game. The Rockies return home tonight when they host San Diego for the start of the 4-game series at Coors Field.

The NBA Finals begin tonight as Miami host San Antonio in the best of 7 series. And in the Stanley Cup playoffs, Boston defeated Pittsburgh 2-1 in 2 overtimes to take a 3 games to none lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.
