Cutthroats Open Season Friday Night

The Casper Cutthroats baseball team will start the 2013 season on Friday as they'll host Cheyenne at Lansing Field. The Cutthroats will have several returning players from last season including Austin Rue, Brandon Crutcher, Blake Coffman, Kendall Fay and Thomas Lundborg. Rue hit .368 a year ago, Fay hit at a .320 clip and Coffman enjoyed a fine season at the plate hitting .324. The Cutthroats will have 2 Casper natives on their roster, pitchers Eli Ford and Alex Hill. Casper will start the season with a 4 game homestand against Cheyenne which will conclude on Monday
