Did You Know About This Incredible Piece Of Wyoming History?

Wyoming's always been known for having a rich history. One of the things we are most proud of is the fact that we were the first state to give women the right to vote.

Now, that alone is an incredible accomplishment back in the day. But what I was more impressed to find out about was the fact that when we applied to join the union Congress told us that we would have to make it so women could no longer vote.

Us being good old Wyoming told them that we would remain out of the union for 100 years before we joined without the women.

We have always loved the women of the cowboy state and to this day we would not go anywhere without you!
