UNDATED (AP) — The Anaheim Ducks have stretched their lead in the NHL's Western Conference by winning for the 15th time in their last 16 games. Ryan Getzlaf (GETS'-laf) scored twice while Anaheim was putting together a four-goal second period to beat Nashville 4-3. Corey Perry tied the game with his team-high 25th goal of the season before Teemu Selanne (TAY'-moo she-LAH'-nee) notched the game-winner late in the middle stanza.

The Ducks trailed 2-0 and 3-2 before stretching their Western Conference lead to four points over Chicago and St. Louis.

The Blues were 5-0 winners at Calgary as Jaroslav Halak (hah-LAHK') stopped 33 shots in his third shutout of the season and 28th of his career. Vladimir Sobotka and Vladimir Tarasenko each had a goal and an assist in the Blues' seventh consecutive win.

Also in the NHL:

— Joe Pavelski scored twice and Joe Thornton had two assists in San Jose's 4-1 victory against Detroit. Antti Niemi (AN'-tee nee-EH'-mee) handled 24 shots as the Sharks won for the seventh time in 10 games to stay nine points off the Western Conference lead.

— Boston is 0-2 on its California road trip after Justin Williams and Alex Martinez scored 61 seconds apart to put Los Angeles ahead 3-0 in the first period of a 4-2 win over the Bruins. Jeff Carter and Dustin Brown also tallied as the Kings won for just the second time in their last eight games.

— Justin Fontaine registered his first career hat trick and Minnesota picked up its fourth straight win by topping Phoenix 4-1. Niklas Backstrom stopped 39 shots and Kyle Brodziak (BRAHD'-zihk) had a goal and an assist for the Wild.

— Dallas absorbed its fourth straight loss as Cory Schneider picked up his third shutout of the season by stopping 26 shots in New Jersey's 1-0 win over the Stars. Michael Ryder scored his team-high 15th goal 8:17 into the second period to help the Devils end a three-game skid.

— Eric Fehr (fehr) scored his second goal of the night with just 52 seconds left to give Washington a 4-3 win at Tampa Bay. Mikhail Grabovski and Marcus Johansson had power-play goals for the Capitals, who blew a 3-1 lead before ending a four-game losing streak.

— Jeff Skinner has 17 goals in his last 17 games and a career-high six-game point streak after netting a goal and an assist in Carolina's 6-1 victory against Toronto. Jordan Staal had a goal and three assists, and Eric Lindholm collected three points in his first game since coming back from the World Junior Championship.

— Tim Thomas stopped 23 shots and Brad Boyes led Florida's offense in a 2-1 shootout win at Buffalo. Boyes tied the game midway through the third period before scoring the lone shootout goal.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Sabres have hired Tim Murray to take over as their general manager.

Murray spent the past seven seasons working for the Senators, and has 20 years of NHL experience since breaking in as a scout with Detroit in 1993. He was serving as Ottawa's assistant GM.
