Wyoming federal judges recently sentenced two Mexican nationals arrested in Casper on charges of illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States, according to a news release from the Wyoming U.S. Attorney's Office.

U.S. District Court Judge Nancy Freudenthal sentenced Jorge Lopez-Trejo, 36, of Hidalgo, Mexico, to time served plus 10 days to allow for deportation proceedings and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment. Lopez-Trejo was previously removed from the United States to Mexico in 2007.

U.S.  District Court Judge Alan Johnson sentenced Dora Munoz-Rivera, 37, of Chihuahua, Mexico, to received time served plus 10 days to allow for deportation proceedings and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement investigated these cases.
