War Memorial Stadium in Laramie is the site of the 2013 Wyoming High School Football State Championship Game, to be held November 15 and 16.

Friday, November 15th:

2A:

Big Horn 47 Mountain View 22 - Christian Mayer (Big Horn) with 5 TD's, and 243 all-purpose yards, including a 76 yard kickoff return and a 90 yard pick 6. Mountain View had the ball first and marched 80 yards in 18 plays, chewing up 10:01 on the clock...it was all Rams from there, although the Buffalos put up a good effort in the 4th quarter. Saturday, November 16th:

6-Man:

Meeteetse 65 Midwest 30 - FINAL

 

1A:

Cokeville (9-1) vs. Lusk (9-0) - 1pm    KVSI - Montpelier, ID      KGOS/KERM - Torrington

The 2 teams have only played each other 3 times. All were in the post-season, and all were won by Cokeville, including the 2010 state championship game.

Cokeville last won the state championship in 2011.

Lusk last won the state championship in 2002.

 

4A:

Natrona (8-3) vs. East (9-2) - 4pm     KKTL Casper    KFBC Chey    KYOY   Chey

Natrona leads the series between the 2 teams, 40-16. This includes a 4-1 mark in the post-season. The only post-season win for East vs. Natrona, was in the 2006 semi-finals.

This is the first time the 2 teams have faced each other, for the state championship.

Natrona is the defending state champs.

East last won the state championship, back in 2007.
