Football’s Great…When You Watch It From Home [OPINION]

Say What?

What up people?  What’s been happening this last week?  Not a whole lot…Federer won Wimbledon as did Serena.  Anderson the “Spider Man” Silva won the middleweight championship in MMA – that guy is amazing!

The whole Dwight Howard drama has now gotten to be a four-team deal with the Nets, Magic, Clippers, and the Cavs.  Good Lord get it over with already!

The NFL has released training camp dates.  And on that note, discussion has begun to circulate about how the NFL can get people to actually go to the games instead of watching them on television.

That is a very good question.  Let’s see, tickets are at least $100 a pop, expense to get there, traffic, and the game itself in person is really kind of a let down.  Usually because people that can afford tickets have to sit so far away it’s hard to see everything.  And oh lets not forget weather conditions.  Yeah, the NFL has a conundrum.  What do you think? I would love to know what your thoughts are on the matter!

I myself am in love with NFL Red Zone channel.  It is awesome!  It gives me everything I like – the best plays, current scores and current stats.

As far as watching a football game live, nothing beats the college game.  It is so much fun – way more atmosphere!
