Former Colorado Avalanche Star Grabs Coffee In Cheyenne
A National Hockey League star and Stanley Cup champion spent some time in Cheyenne recently, and even enjoyed what he called "the best mocha in the west."
Scott Parker was a right winger for both the Avalanche and San Jose Sharks from 1998–2008. In 2001, he was part of Colorado's Stanley Cup championship team.
According to Cheyenne coffee shop, The Crooked Cup, Parker stopped in and enjoyed a beverage last Thursday. Scott ordered a blended mocha, and called it "the best in the west." He apparently liked it so much in fact, that according to his wife, Francesca, he went back the next day with her where they both got another mocha.
Parker also took time to sign an autograph and pose for a couple photos.
Cheyenne's Crooked Cup is located at 1611 Carey Ave in downtown Cheyenne.
