Gillette Wins Ron Thon Wrestling Tournament

The powerhouse of Wyoming high school wrestling continued their dominance over the weekend with a big win in the all class Ron Thon tournament in Riverton. The Camels had 4 2nd place finishers and earned points in just about every weight class to finish with 224 points. 3A power Powell finished 2nd with 147 pounds but the Panthers had 3 individual champions, Chance Karst at 132 pounds, Nic Urbach at 138 points and Jacob Davis 170. Natrona finished 13th and Kelly Walsh took 27th.
