UNDATED (AP) — The Miami Heat will head to Milwaukee with a two-games-to-none lead in the NBA's Eastern Conference quarterfinals.

Dwyane (dwayn) Wade scored 21 points and the Heat pulled away in the fourth quarter to beat the Bucks 98-86. LeBron James chipped in 19 points for Miami, which scored the first 12 points of the final period to take a 15-point lead with about 9 1/2 minutes left.

The Bucks will host Game 3 on Thursday.

CLEVELAND (AP) — Mike Brown is taking another crack at coaching the Cleveland Cavaliers, agreeing in principle to a contract three years after he was dismissed by team owner Dan Gilbert.

A person with knowledge of the situation says Brown hasn't yet signed his new deal but has agreed to take the job. Brown went 272-138 and went to the playoffs every season with the Cavs, teaming with James on a run to the NBA Finals in 2007.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Charlotte Bobcats have fired coach Mike Dunlap after just one season. The Bobcats went 21-61 under Dunlap, finishing with the second-worst record in the NBA ahead of only the Orlando Magic.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana forward Paul George has been named winner of the NBA's Most Improved Player award. He averaged 17.4 points and 7.6 rebounds a game this season, both career highs. In the opening game of the Pacers playoff series with the Hawks, George had a triple double with 23 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists in the Pacers' 107-90 Game 1 win over Atlanta.

George finished with 311 points and 52 first-place votes from the media panel, well in front of Greivis (GREE'-vihs) Vasquez of New Orleans.
