Road construction and Casper go hand-in-hand. There are always new projects popping up throughout the area. Some of the projects are a pain in the backside when you're trying to get to certain places. Remember when F was closed between Poplar and Center?

If you've tried to get to the Ford Wyoming Center lately, you've experienced one of those frustrating instances. Poplar is closed at Wilkins Circle.

If you're trying to get to the Trails Center, you'll need to turn onto Wilkins Circle and then drive through the construction area.

If you're trying to get to the Ford Wyoming Center, bypass Poplar North of I-25. There are two routes you can take to avoid the construction zone headaches.

Option one is to get on I-25 and head North. Take the exit onto Events Drive.

Option two is to take Bryan Stock Trail to Amoco Rd. Get on E Road, then turn onto Events Drive.

For most people heading to concerts, your starting point is probably not Poplar so that these detours won't affect you too much. What may change is your pre-gaming plan and the time you leave to get to the concert.
