I'm sure you've heard the news about Grant Street Grocery closing, but did you hear the other news? You can benefit from that closure by buying their baking equipment and supplies.

Bill Brockley Jr. started True Bakery in Casper a few years ago at the Food for Thought commercial kitchen in downtown Casper, then baked out of his home for a while before opening a new location in the Wolcott Galleria, and then eventually purchasing the Grant Street Grocery store.

Bill announced earlier this year that he, his wife Emily, and their family would be leaving Casper and putting the Grant Street store up for sale, but the store failed to sell. Since they just closed the store and have been in the baking and catering business for a few years, a lot of equipment needs a new home.

This Wednesday and Thursday, from noon to 5 each day, you can stop by the store at 815 S. Grant Ave to see the items available.

I know how expensive baking equipment is, and if you are looking to restock or start your own baking business, you'll likely find good items at a good price available. So I wouldn't sleep on this opportunity.

According to their Facebook post, they have everything from commercial mixers and catering equipment to large storage containers, glasses, cups, saucers, bowls, plates, and other items that may come in handy for your own business.

We’re sad to shut our doors. There’s a lot of heart and hard work in this kitchen, and letting go isn’t easy. But we’re excited that some of the equipment and supplies we’ve used can now help someone else build, grow, and create.
