Breaking: Billings PD Find Missing 12 Year Old Boy Deceased
This just in from the Billings Police Department:
On March 7th, the Billings Police Department took a missing person’s report for a 12-year-old juvenile male who had run away from a relative in the Billings area approximately two weeks prior and had not been heard from since.
The case was assigned to the BPD Investigations Unit which worked collaboratively with the Bureau of India Affairs. Leads for the victim’s whereabouts were followed up within the Billings area as well as in the area of Pryor.
BPD Wants Your Help To Find This Child
While serving a search warrant at a residence in the 900 block of Terry Avenue during the morning of March 15th, Detectives located a deceased person hidden in an outbuilding on the property. The body at this time is presumed to be that of the missing juvenile.
At this time the BPD has arrested a 13-year-old male who has been charged with tampering with evidence and has been remanded into custody at Youth Services. The BPD has also detained a 19-year-old male as a person of interest. The investigation is ongoing.
