The two coaching staffs for the 53rd annual Wyoming Shrine Bowl all-star football next summer have been completed. Shrine Bowl Executive Director Larry Yeradi released the information last Sunday. Yeradi said, “On behalf of the Wyoming Shriners and the 2026 Wyoming Shrine Bowl, I would like to congratulate the following coaches on their selection to their respective North and South Staffs. The Wyoming Shriners and Shrine Bowl Officers look forward to working with you and are excited for your player selections. This Game would not be possible without YOU!”

WYOMING SHRINE BOWL COACHING STAFFS ANNOUNCED FOR 2026

South head coach Brent Walk from Mountain View selected these coaches to join his staff. The first choices are from the Buffalos’ program, assistant Brennan Walk and volunteer assistant Braeden Walk. The other coaches on the South Team are Paul Garcia from Cheyenne East, Wes Gamble from Douglas, Saratoga’s Logan Wright, and Little Snake River’s Jack Cobb.

North head coach Mark Lenhardt of Riverton chose these coaches to be part of his staff. From his own staff at RHS is assistant Henry Lynn. The others are Josh Anderson from Natrona County, Newcastle’s Matt Conzelman, Rod Frederick of Wind River, and Hulett’s Boz Backen.

Each coaching staff will choose the players for the two teams for the Shrine Bowl. The player rosters are to be completed by mid-January. Next year’s game will be at Cheney Alumni Field on Saturday, June 13, in Casper, at Natrona County High School.

The North Team won the 52nd edition of the Wyoming Shrine Bowl in 2025 over the South by a final score of 34-28. The North team leads the all-time series 28-20-3.
