Wyoming High School Golf Scoreboard: Aug. 19-24, 2024
Six events are part of Week 2 of the Wyoming High School golf season. There are two one-day events. There are four two-day events. All but a few teams made their debut last week. After this week, every team will have played at least one tournament. Hulett, Sheridan, Lander, Pinedale, Wheatland, and Sundance are the six sites to host this week.
WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL GOLF SCHEDULE WEEK 2 2024
Here is the schedule for Week 2 of the golf season. All schedules are subject to change. If you have an update, you can email david@wyopreps.com. The results will be posted below each event.

Monday, Aug. 19:
Hulett Invite – at The Golf Club at Devils Tower – Lusk, Sundance, Upton, Wright.
The weather forced the cancellation of the round before it was completed.
Wednesday, Aug. 21:
Sheridan Scoop Shovlain Invitational – at Kendrick G.C., 9 a.m. – Buffalo, Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.
After the 1st day, the Sheridan girls and Cheyenne East boys have the team leads, respectively. SHS girls shoot 259 and lead by 7 shots over Kelly Walsh. The East boys fire a 318 and lead by 3 over Campbell County.
The individual clubhouse leaders are Khloe Romo of KW at 81 for the girls and Nash Coleman from Cheyenne East for the boys at 72.
Thursday, Aug. 22:
Terry Berg (Lander) Invite – at Lander G.C., at 11 a.m. – Cody, Evanston, Jackson, Lander, Lovell, Powell, Riverton, Thermopolis, Worland.
Madison Brown of Evanston has a 5-shot lead after the opening day, and Evanston has the girls' team lead. On the boys' side, Kyler Graham of Riverton and Ryker Lind from Evanston share the lead by 3 shots. Lander has the team lead in the boys' division.
Pinedale Invite – at Rendezvous Meadows G.C., 11 a.m. – Green River, Kemmerer, Lyman, Pinedale, Rock Springs, Star Valley.
Jordyn Horsley of Star Valley has a 6-shot lead and helped Star Valley lead the team race. Austin Christen from Kemmerer leads by 3 strokes. Star Valley also has the team lead.
Sheridan Scoop Shovlain Invitational – at Kendrick G.C., 9 a.m. – Buffalo, Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.
Camryn Wagner was the girls' medalist at 161 and won by 10 strokes. Nash Coleman of Cheyenne East won the boys' division by 5 shots with a 145 total. The Sheridan girls and Cheyenne East boys captured the team titles.
Wheatland Invite – at Wheatland G.C., 10 a.m. – Cheyenne South, Douglas, Glenrock, Laramie, Rawlins, Torrington, Wheatland.
Wheatland's Haylee Nelson and Tate Nichols have the clubhouse lead after the 1st round.
Girls Team Scores = Douglas 266, Torrington 310, Laramie 342, Glenrock 459.
Boys Team Scores = Wheatland 289, Laramie 340, Glenrock 371, Douglas 378, South 432, Rawlins 488.
Friday, Aug. 23:
Terry Berg (Lander) Invite – at Lander G.C., at 9 a.m. – Cody, Evanston, Jackson, Lander, Lovell, Powell, Riverton, Thermopolis, Worland.
Evanston swept the two medalist honors. Madison Brown pulled away to win the girls' division by 13 shots. Ryker Lind also pulled away to win the boys' division by 11 shots. The Evanston girls and Riverton boys took the team crowns.
Pinedale Invite – at Rendezvous Meadows G.C., 9 a.m. – Green River, Kemmerer, Lyman, Pinedale, Rock Springs, Star Valley.
Star Valley's Jordyn Horsley won by 3 strokes in the girls' field and led the Braves to the team title. For the boys, Braxton Costello won on his home course in a playoff. Star Valley took 1st in the boys team standings.
Sundance Invite – at Sundance C.C. – Big Horn, Hulett, Lusk, Moorcroft, Newcastle, Sundance, Ten Sleep, Tongue River, Wright.
Savanah Peterson took 1st in the girls' field on her home course. She beat a teammate in the playoff. Sundance won the girls' team crown. Easton Lewis of Tongue River won by 9 strokes. Wright took the team title.
Wheatland Invite – at Wheatland G.C., 9 a.m. – Cheyenne South, Douglas, Glenrock, Laramie, Rawlins, Torrington, Wheatland.
Haylee Nelson and Tate Nichols of Wheatland swept the top spot on their home course. Nelson held on by 1 shot and Nichols won by 8 strokes. The Douglas girls and Wheatland boys won the team titles.
Saturday, Aug. 24:
Upton Invite – at Upton G.C. – Sundance, Tongue River, Upton, Wright.
The two medalists were Savanah Peterson of Sundance and Easton Lewis of Tongue River. The Sundance girls and Wright boys took 1st place in the team standings.
