The third week of the 2025 prep track and field season in Wyoming features five meets in the state this week. Spring Break continues to impact some schedules. Casper, Rock Springs, Glenrock, Greybull, and Buffalo will host track meets in the state this week. Some schools are choosing to compete in a neighboring state, either Colorado, Idaho, Nebraska, or Utah.

GLEN LEGLER EARLY BIRD at Natrona County HS in Casper – Campbell County, Cody, Douglas, Kelly Walsh, Lander, Laramie, Moorcroft, Natrona County, Ten Sleep, Thermopolis Torrington, Wheatland, Wyoming Indian.

Torrington's Brooklyn Ausmus and Laramie's Kate Lewis were 2-event winners on the girls' side. NC's Logan Borden and Campbell County's Raynor Ranum were 2-event winners in the boys' division.

FRIDAY, APRIL 4:

TONY LEHNER/AL FINCH INVITATIONAL in Glenrock – Postponed to April 12

Out-of-State events:

GRIZZLY INVITATIONAL in Greeley, CO – Canceled

PRESTON INVITATIONAL in Preston, ID – Cokeville.

The Panthers placed 9th in the girls' division with 44 points and 13th in the boys' with 10 points. Addison Barnes won the 400 meters, won the 300 hurdles, took 2nd in the long jump, and was 3rd in the 100 hurdles.

 

SATURDAY, APRIL 5:

BILL GERARD MEMORIAL at Greybull HS – Arapahoe Charter, Burlington, Dubois, Ft. Washakie, Greybull, Meeteetse, Riverside, Shoshoni, Thermopolis, Tongue River, Wind River.

Girls Team Scores = Thermopolis 94, Greybull 77, Riverside 70, Tongue River 66, Shoshoni 55, Wind River 47, Dubois 26, Burlington 19, Arapaho Charter 12, Ft. Washakie 6, Meeteetse 3.

Boys Team Scores = Thermopolis 180.50, Tongue River 72, Riverside 62.50, Wind River 56, Greybull 47.50, Shoshoni 41, Burlington 40.50, Meeteetse 23, Dubois 15, Ft. Washakie 13, Arapahoe Charter 4.

Davdine King won the 100 & 200 meters and high jump. Olivia Remacle of Wind River won the 1600 & 3200 meters. Kennedy Bassett of Riverside swept the hurdle races. Tongue River's Chaney Reish won the long & triple jump. Del Dukes of Thermopolis won the 100 & 200 meters. Teammate Anthony Cheatham swept the throwing events.

SHERIDAN TRIANGULAR - Big Horn, Sheridan, Thunder Basin

Girls Team Scores = Sheridan 259, Thunder Basin 247, Big Horn 54.

Boys Team Scores = Sheridan 253.50, Thunder Basin 230.50, Big Horn 97.

JERRY CAMPBELL INVITATIONAL at Buffalo HS – Canceled

Out-of-State events:

ALTITUDE RUNNING INVITATIONAL in Fort Collins, CO – Cheyenne Central, Laramie.

Central girls were 7th and Laramie 13th. Laramie boys were 7th and Central was 11th. Laramie's Lainey Berryhill won the 400 meters. Laramie's Flynn Arnold won the 400 meters. Laramie won the boys' 4x100 relay. Central's Elise Kovacs won the girls' pole vault. 

BAYARD CD INVITE in Bayard, NE – Burns, Lingle-Ft. Laramie, Pine Bluffs, Southeast.

Lingle-Ft. Laramie won the girls' 4x100 relay. Southeast's Haylee Ekwall won the shot put. Jessica Hoffman of Pine Bluffs finished 1st in the discus. Zane Howes of Burns won the boys' 100 & 200 meters. Lingle's Brody Roberts won the 400 & 800 meters and triple jump. Louden Bremer of LFL won the 300 hurdles. Burns won the 4x100. Lingle won the 4x400.

Burns & Lingle-Ft. Laramie tied for 1st at 101 points. Pine Bluffs was 9th, and Southeast was 13th. Lingle took 2nd in the girls' division with 72 points. Southeast was 4th, Pine Bluffs 5th, and Burns 6th.

TAYLORSVILLE INVITATION in Taylorsville, UT – Evanston, Kemmerer, Lyman, Mountain View.

Kemmerer took 9th in the girls' division, Mountain View was 12th, Evanston 31st, and Lyman 37th. Kemmerer placed 6th in the boys' division, Evanston was 12th, and Mountain View 27th.

Laynee Walker won the girls' pole vault at 9-6. Kemmerer won the girls' Sprint Medley relay at 5:10:55. Cole Rogers of Kemmerer took 2nd in the 110 hurdles and tied for 2nd in the 300 hurdles. Teammate Derek Hagler was 2nd in the discus and shot put.
