About the Plane That Crashed in Colorado

The plane was a single-engine Cessna 172. This small plane seats four and is one of the most popular planes for training pilots. It is possible that the pilot that crashed the plane was a pilot student, however, there are no reports of the pilot or their experience.

This aircraft has a maximum range of 640 nautical miles.

In an interview with Fox 31, Brian Millie of South Metro Fire said that the plane crashed quickly after take-off and another plane quickly launched for take-off right behind it.

The plane that flew behind the plane that crashed is who reported the incident.

The golf course is just five miles away from the Centennial Airport.
