It's a simple question posted by Andy Retucci on his Facebook page, "What is the scariest thing in Wyoming?"

I expect some Colorado jokes. There were 60 answers the last time I looked. Let's see what they were.

I80 - Black Ice!!!! - Wind - The Mayor and City Councilmen - Tourons - Grizzlies, wolves, and people - Goat heads - Jackalopes - Tourists - i80 - The winter - Outsiders - Yellowstone, there's a hidden danger that someday will blow - Grizzlies - The assortment of people traveling through on I80. All types of personalities stopping in your town - Colorado people when they are doing like MACH 5 on I-25 - My ex-girlfriend and her psycho FAMILY - Jackalopes - The migration of new folks who seek to change the culture - Californians - Being stuck behind a sugar beet truck - No Guardrails on a mountain - Lack of women! - Democrats - Nothing scary in Wyoming! I love it there! - Yellowstone Park during tourist/terrorist/touron season - The spooky, perfectly symmetrical rectangular box that surrounds it - Out of state hunters - All of everything - Crazy Woman Canyon - Really cold weather, A mountain lion.

YEAH, Wyoming has some scary things. All states do.

What surprised me about that list is how few Colorado jokes there were, and nothing about Bigfoot or UFOs.

Things to be afraid of in Wyoming include dangerous wildlife like grizzly bears, wolves, and bison, along with extreme natural hazards like high-speed winds, ground blizzards, and significant temperature drops. Visitors should also watch out for rattlesnakes, mountain lions, and severe altitude sickness at high elevations, especially people from Colorado.

Other than that, this is one of the safest states to live in.

Jay Em, Wyoming, Frozen In Time

Jay Em, what an unusual name for a town. The few people who live there are proud of what their spot on earth once was, and they work to preserve it. They keep this little community frozen in time.
