After 8 years, a popular Wyoming YouTuber is calling it quits. Sort of.

This will be a painful story for fans of this channel.

Our Wyoming Life has been producing videos out of Campbell County Wyoming, showcasing the difficulties of making a living off the land as a rancher in the Cowboy State.

The channel has had a good run.

There are 279 thousand subscribers with many videos receiving millions of views.

From raising kids and every kind of animal to homesteading techniques and a country story, the couple has taken a lot on.

This husband and wife team met while working in radio broadcast in Rapid City South Dakota.

She inherited a ranch where she grew up, in Campbel County Wyoming, near Gillette. So they left the media world and took over the family property.

Being broadcasters it seemed natural to make a YouTube channel documenting their life on the ranch.

Below is the introductory video for the channel.

We are a Wyoming ranch family that is excited to bring you into the fold. Posting multiple videos weekly we will share with you what it is like to work on a ranch, and how to manage and take care of a multitude of animals, including cows, horses, pigs, chickens, geese, ducks, and even a peacock. We will also bring you hints and tips for your own gardens, and how to plant, grow, and harvest for your own use. Our goal is to bring the consumer closer to the producer through education and understanding, and we are thrilled to have you along for the ride.

The reason for the change in this popular channel is not something anyone wants to hear.

Husband and wife Mike and Erin who cohost the show are getting a divorce.

They are keeping their reasons for the separation private.

It's a family ranch that comes from the wife's side of the family so Mike will be stepping out.

The channel will not go away, as is explained in the video below.

She will continue the channel Our Wyoming Life.

He will continue making videos on his channel Beyond The Ranch.
