Watch Artist Make Amazing Yellowstone Diorama
Imagine being able to look into Yellowstone's hot springs, without ever having to leave your living room.
This artist and YouTube creator teaches people how to build dioramas. However, you could just buy one if you don't want to go through the process.
He's posted 2 different videos on Yellowstone hot springs.
One has a creature at the bottom, just waiting to snack on the next human that passes by.
The processes he uses and the interesting materials make these videos fascinating to watch.
This week, I made my second cross-section diorama of a hot spring in Yellowstone.
The hot pool I recreated this time is Emerald Spring in the Norris Basin.
The diorama is set in my Wild Imaginary West and houses a mysterious creature that travels from pool to pool searching for bones and waiting to drag unsuspecting prey into the hot water. (Boylei Hobby Time).
Most of what he works with you can find at any shop that sells hobbies and models.
But how does he get those wonderful colors for the deep waters?
This week, I recreated one of my favorite sights in Yellowstone, Morning Glory Pool.
I added some glowing eyes to the bottom of the pool to suggest the presence of something large and scary and bring Yellowstone into the setting of the Wild Imaginary West.
A person could spend hours watching his creation videos.
A person could also spend hours just staring at the finished product.
