Big Emergency Response Presence at Holliday Park is Training

Don't be scared if you see a heavy presence of first responders and military vehicles in Holliday Park this Halloween.

Cheyenne Fire and Rescue along with Regional Response Team #7 and the Wyoming National Guard's 84th Civil Support Team will conduct a training exercise in the park.

"The exercise will simulate a hazmat incident," CFR said in a release.

CFR says the exercise, which is conducted annually, will not use hazardous materials that are harmful to humans or the environment.

CFR says parking areas on the west side of the park will be closed until 5 p.m., but the park will return to normal use following the exercise.
