Cheyenne Police Investigating Fatal Saturday Night Shooting
Cheyenne Police are investigating a late Saturday shooting that left one person dead, according to a post on the CPD Facebook page.
According to the post, police were called to an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Oxford Drive at 11 p.m. on a report of a domestic disturbance. When they got there, they found that a man had been shot several times. Officers administered first aid until the medical personnel got there, but it was to no avail as the man was declared dead at the scene.
Police Say The Investigation Is Ongoing
The post says an adult male was detained, but does not say whether he was formally arrested and if so, on what charges. At the last report no names had been released, but police say they don't think there is any threat to public safety in connection to the incident.
