Cheyenne Shoplifting Suspect Caught With Meth in Her Vagina
A 33-year-old Cheyenne woman is facing a felony charge after police reportedly caught her with methamphetamine.
According to a booking sheet, it all started around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, after police were called to a shoplifting at the Walmart at 580 Livingston Ave.
Police say dispatch informed them that the driver of a black Chevrolet Impala bearing Wyoming license plate 2-7246A had picked up the shoplifter, later identified as Jessica Dawn Tjaden, and left the parking lot.
Tjaden was reportedly arrested at 4:50 p.m. after police located the car and stopped it at the intersection of East 10th Street and Carbon Avenue and K-9 Maverick alerted on the car.
Police say Tjaden had a large black MOLLE pouch containing three syringes that were loaded with suspected liquid methamphetamine, and a purple pill container with methamphetamine residue in her pocket.
Tjaden then reportedly admitted that she had inserted a baggie of methamphetamine into her vagina.
Tjaden was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center for medical clearance, where 5.8 grams of methamphetamine was reportedly removed from her vagina.
She was subsequently cited for disturbance of the peace and shoplifting, and booked into the Laramie County Detention Center for felony possession of methamphetamine.
