1 Dead After Pickup T-Bones Car in South Cheyenne
A 65-year-old Colorado woman was killed in a T-bone crash in south Cheyenne on Saturday afternoon, May 4, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 4:18 p.m. at the intersection of College Drive and South Greeley Highway.
According to a fatality crash summary, a Toyota Tacoma was headed west on College Drive when an oncoming Ford Taurus attempted to turn left to head north on South Greeley Highway and the Tacoma T-boned the passenger side of the Taurus.
Both drivers and a passenger walked away from the crash, but Crystal Regalado, a passenger in the Taurus, died from her injuries.
The summary does not list any possible contributing factors.
This is the 25th reported fatality on Wyoming's highways so far this year.
Of those fatalities, five, or 20%, have died in crashes in or near Cheyenne.
