Investigation Underway After Airman Found Dead at F.E. Warren
An investigation is underway after an active-duty airman assigned to the 90th Missile Wing was found dead on F.E. Warren Air Force Base this morning.
The base in a media release late Wednesday afternoon said the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and appropriate base authorities are currently investigating the incident.
"No further details are being released at this time to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation," the release reads.

"It is with deep sadness that we face the loss of a member of the Mighty Ninety and on behalf of our entire team, I offer my deepest condolences to the family and friends of the lost individual," said 90th Missile Wing Commander Col. Terrance "Terry" Holmes.
"Please know that the 90th Missile Wing provides several support services to families and Airmen in need," Holmes added. "I implore anyone needing support during this sensitive time, or any other time, to seek help immediately."
In accordance with Department of Defense policy, the name of the airman is being withheld until 24 hours after next of kin notification.
"Additional information will be released as it becomes available and appropriate," the release reads. "This was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the general public."
This is the fourth airman death since July 20, and the second airman death this month.
