Murder-Suicide

FCPS says detectives are still investigating the incident but have determined it was a murder-suicide as an act of domestic violence.

According to F.E. Warren, Jackson was a security forces member assigned to the 90th Missile Security Forces Squadron, 90th Missile Wing.

He entered active duty in May of 2023, was promoted to his current rank in July of 2023, and was assigned to F.E. Warren in November of 2023.

"As the investigation continues, we are working closely with local authorities into the circumstances surrounding this incident," said 90th Missile Wing Commander Col. Terrance "Terry" Holmes.

"Our focus is on providing support to those affected and maintaining cooperation with law enforcement and investigative agencies," Holmes added.

FCPS says the official cause, manner, and identity of the female victim will be released by the Larimer County Coroner.

"No one should ever have to live in fear or experience violence from someone they love or trust," said FCPS Chief Jeff Swoboda.

"As the investigation continues, we remain committed to supporting the victim’s loved ones and all those impacted by this devastating situation," he added.
