One member of the Laramie County Sheriff's Office ''Most Wanted" was recently found hiding in a basement.

That's according to a post on the Laramie County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

According to the post, on October 6, detectives saw  April Morganroth go into a house in the 5000 block of Hickory Place in Cheyenne. The post says she was on the Most Wanted list for an active felony forgery warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court.

The post goes on to say, "Upon making contact with a resident at the location, detectives confirmed Morganroth was the sole occupant in the home." Detectives then announced they were there and told her to come out, but she refused to give up.

Morganroth worked as a reporter under the name ''Marie Hamilton." At one point, she was the publisher of the Southeast Wyoming Sentinel.

Deputies Demanded Her Surrender On A Loudspeaker

Deputies continued to demand her surrender over the patrol car loudspeaker, but got no response. When that didn't work, detectives secured the dogs that lived at the home and entered the house.

They found out she was hiding in the basement and still wouldn't give up, so they used gas to make her come out. After that, she surrendered.

The post says, "Morganroth was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on a felony forgery warrant and for interference."
