JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — Jackson Hole High School is the winner of both the boys and girls divisions at the state Nordic skiing tournament.

The Jackson Hole Daily reports that both teams held off Natrona County to capture the titles at the contest, which ended Saturday in Cody.

It's the 14th time the Jackson boys have won the state Nordic tournament and the ninth title for the girls.

The Broncs competed without five skiers who were ruled ineligible for the tournament because they didn't compete in enough races this season. The skiers challenged the decision but their petition was denied 4-3 by the coaches of the competing teams.
