Kansas Farmer Says “Hi” To SpaceX With Cow Art
A Kansas farmer is impressed with Elon Musk’s launch of the SpaceX rocket “Falcon Heavy” and it’s payload of a Tesla car with a manikin dressed in a space suit with David Bowie’s “Life on Mars” playing on the stereo.
Derek Klingenberg just wanted to say “Hi” in a way that could be seen from space, so he decided to use his heard of 300 cattle to create “cow art.” So he used his feed truck to lure the cows to form the letters and then figured out how to get an image through his access to the FarmersEdge satellite.
It was tricky, but he got it done and you can see the process and results in this clever video.
What got this cow art started.
And what's going on with "Starman?" Here's a live feed.
