Kelly Walsh Wins Casper Cup

The Kelly Walsh boys and girls soccer teams won the Casper Cup on Thursday Night. The KW boys evened the match at 2 all thanks to a goal in the 79th minute from Seth Romsa. The score remained 2-2 after 2 10 minute overtimes so the result was a tie and since KW won last years Cup match, they retained the travelling trophy. The Trojans now 4-9-1 on the year and NC drops to 2-10-2

The Kelly Walsh girls won the Casper Cup thanks to a 2-1 win over Natrona. Kristen Franke scored the game winner in the 2nd half as the Lady Trojans improve to 9-6 on the year and earn an automatic bid to the state tournament thanks to a 2nd place finish in the 4A West. The NC fillies dropped to 7-7 and their lone goal was scored by Lulu Rochelle.
