A Casper man was arrested for several misdemeanors, including DUI, after he walked into a stranger's house Thursday.

According to an arrest affidavit, police were called to a Casper home after the owner reported a drunk man walked into the house. The man, identified as Daniel Dean Hunt, then left in a brown Lincoln Continental that didn't have registration.

Prior to Hunt entering the home, police received a call from a man who said Hunt threatened him with a slingshot and said he was going to kill him.

Police located Hunt parked in the Continental in a nearby parking lot.

When asked to step out of his vehicle, Hunt had difficulty standing up straight and was stumbling. Police smelled alcohol coming from Hunt that got stronger as he continued speaking.

When officers searched Hunt's vehicle, they found suspected marijuana, a glass marijuana pipe. They also found an empty beer bottle.

Hunt was arrested on recommended charges of DUI, Open Container in a vehicle, malicious mischief, disturbing the peace, possession of marijuana, driving without a vehicle registration and failure to maintain liability coverage.
