McSwiggan Commits to Portland

Casper College basketball player Josh McSwiggan has committed to play the University of Portland for next season. McSwiggan originally signed with UTEP and then played in Casper for a year, averaging 13 points per game. He shot 44% from the field, 36% from 3 point land and 81% from the free throw line. McSwiggan was named 2nd team all Region IX and also named the Region IX all tournament. The Portland Pilots are coached by former NBA player Terry Porter and went 11-22 this past season.
