The Denver Broncos play their first road game of the season tonight when they play the Atlanta Falcons. Both teams are coming off wins in the opening weekend.

The Broncos are coming off that 31-19 win over Pittsburgh last Sunday night, and Atlanta defeated Kansas City. It was also featured two of the better quarterbacks in the league with Peyton Manning  and Matt Ryan of the Falcons. Kickoff tonight is at 6:30pm on AM 1030 KTWO.

The Wyoming Cowboys are coming a very disappointing loss to Cal Poly on Saturday in Laramie 24-22. The Mustangs with 2 quick touchdowns in the first quarter and rushed the ball for over 200 yards in that quarter alone and over 300 for the game. Cal Poly's Deonte Williams led the Mustangs rushing attack with 187 yards. The Pokes fought back to take the lead in the first half thanks to a couple of touchdowns by Shaun Wicks. The Cowboys managed just a touchdown in the second half and Cal Poly put up 10 in the 2nd half. The Cowboys were playing without quarterback Brett Smith who sat out with a concussion suffered the week before in the  Toledo game. Back up quarterback Colby Kirkegaard was 15 of 23 for 123 yards and one interception late in the game. The Cowboys are now 0-3, something not alot of people expected and travle to  Idaho Saturday afternoon.

The Colorado Rockies who are playing out the string lost at San Diego Sunday afternoon 12-11. Rockies rookie Josh Rutledge with a grand slam in the 8th inning to tie the game, but the Padres win it pushing a run across in the bottom of the 9th.

In auto racing on the NASCAR circuit and the Chase for the Cup kicked off in Chicago Sunday. Brad Keslowski won the race, his fourth of the season and takes the overall lead in the standings. Five time Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson was 2nd and Kasey Kahne was 3rd.
