A man who failed to appear for his sentencing hearing Tuesday is wanted by the Natrona County Sheriff's Office, and authorities are hoping the public will help locate him.

Raymond Alexander Ray, 37, was set to be sentenced on an aggravated assault charge before District Judge Thomas Sullins.

Ray is described as a black male standing 5'11" tall and weighing 176 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

According to the sheriff's office, Ray was last known to be living in the 600 block of Morgan Avenue in Mills.

Anyone with information on Ray's whereabouts is asked to call the Natrona County Sheriff's Office at 235-9282.
