Sam Turner led the Natrona County Mustangs to their first win of the 2013 season over the Cheyenne Central Indians.

Turner found a rhythm in the second half has completing his final 6 consecutive passes and racking up over 200 yds in the air.  It was Stevann Brown who carried the bulk of the running duties and added a touchdown in the victory.

An untimely it was a turnover by the Indians with a minute and a half remaining in the first half, led to the Mustangs first touchdown and a 13-3 lead at the half.

In the second half, the Mustangs defense poured on the pressure coming up with big stops early and the the offense was able to take advantage of the resulting field positions.

Big receptions and a couple of TD's from Chase Anderson put the finishing exclamation point on the game giving NC a 27 point lead late.  But Central was able to rally for one final score bringing the final - Natrona County Mustangs 40 the Central Indians 20.
