Two former players and a former coach from the University of Wyoming will all be part of the NBA Summer League in July.

Former Wyoming head coach Larry Shyatt and former star guard Josh Adams will be reunited with the Dallas Mavericks, while former Cowboys guard Nathan Sobey will be playing for the Utah Jazz.

Shyatt will be coaching Dallas during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Adams, who played in Russia last season, has signed with the Mavs. Adams averaged 7.8 points and a team-high 2.3 assists for Avtodor Saratov of the VTB United League. He added 3.3 rebounds and two steals per game.

Adams played for his hometown Denver Nuggets last year in the Summer League.

Sobey has been a star in Down Under. He was the Australia National Basketball League’s Most Improved Player this past season. Sobey played for the Adelaide 36ers’ and averaged 15.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. He shot over 44 percent from the field and 40 percent from deep. After that season ended, he was signed by PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece. Sobey recently impressed the Jazz as part of their free agent camp earlier this month. They signed him to a Summer League deal.

Utah will host games in Salt Lake City July 3-6. Then the Jazz and Mavericks will play in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas July 7-17. You can watch those games on the ESPN Networks and NBA Network.
