The Natrona boys soccer team secured a spot in next week's state tournament thanks to a 3-0 win over Evanston in the opening round of the 4A West regional tournament in Casper on Thursday night. The Mustangs opened the scoring thanks to Reegan Chadderdon in the 53rd minute and that's all NC would need. Joey Antonovich and Danny Diaz added 2nd half goals as Natrona improved to 7-7-1. The Mustangs will play Rock Springs on Friday night at 7pm with teams playing for seeds in the state tournament. The season did come to an end for the Natrona girls as they lost to Jackson 5-2 in the opening round of the regional tournament. Jordan Quig and Avery Potter scored for the Fillies who finished the season 3-10 and failed to qualify for the state tournament for the first time since 2006.
