The Casper prep soccer teams hooked up in round one of their crosstown rivalry on Friday night over at NCHS. In the girls match, Natrona edged Kelly Walsh 2-1. NC's Sara Jones scored in the 10th minute to make it 1-0. KW's Abree Hill converted on a penalty kick in the 22nd minute to tie the match at 1 but Natrona Avery Potter gave the Fillies the lead for good later in the first half with a goal and that 2-1 margin stood in Natrona's favor. NC made it a sweep of the weekend in beating Riverton on Saturday to get to 3-4 on the year. KW drops to 3-2-1 on the season. On the boys side, Kelly Walsh has displayed marked improvement from a year ago as they beat Natrona 2-1. NC's Anthony Keith opened the scoring in the 16th minute but KW's Chance Sletten evened the match in the 28th minute. The goal ahead goal for the Trojans was scored by all state player Robert George on a penalty kick. KW gets to 4-1 on the year. Natrona with a loss to Riverton on Saturday sits at 1-6
