Casper just received a very direct shout out in a new song released by Nashville artist, DeMetri Moon. It's called "Casper Mountain" and includes a tribute to Brian Scott.

According to the bio page on her website, DeMetri Moon began playing violin at age 3 and fiddle at age 7. Her new song "Casper Mountain" makes references to Beartrap, Outer Drive, fishermen chasing rainbow trout and many other Wyoming things. The chorus is "Every place should have a Casper Mountain or at least every one should have one in their dreams".

We interviewed DeMetri and talked about how the song "Casper Mountain" came to be.

DeMetri Moon's website indicates that she's performed with Ella Mae Bowen. You can see her playing fiddle in the background.

There's no mention of Brian in the lyrics, but DeMetri shared the song in memory of long-time Casper radio personality and friend, Brian ScottBrian died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016, in a tragic motorcycle accident in Montana on his way back to Casper. This song is another reminder of how much we still miss our friend.

The song "Casper Mountain" is available on iTunes and also Amazon.
