Nonogenarian Lives Dream–Drives NASCAR Pace Car

99 year-old NASCAR fan, Rachel Gilbert got the chance to do what most fans can only dream about. She got to drive the pace car at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Gilbert, who is racing to her 100th birthday, says, "I wish I could have (reached 100 mph), you know, but I went up to 53 or 54."

Even though it wasn't an official race day, Mrs. Gilbert still had a great time and received a crew jersey from Carl Edwards (her favorite driver), for her effort. She'll get to meet him in person in July at the same track.

"I'm anxious to be here in July now. This is gonna be a thrill for me," Gilbert added.
