Another round of action in the NBA playoffs. The Denver Nuggets will host Golden State in game 2 of that series. The Nuggets won game 1 over the weekend 97-95. The Warriors will be shorthanded as all-star David Lee tore his right hip flexor in game 1and will be out the rest of the post season. The Nuggets also hit with the injury bug as the teams leading rebounder Kenneth Fareid did not play in game 1 due to a sore ankle.

The will be 2 other games tonight. Miami will host Milwaukee with the Heat leading 1-0. New York will host Boston with the Knicks up 1 game to none.

In Monday night's playoff basketball, the Chicago Bulls with a road win over Brooklyn 90-82 to even that series at a win apiece. The Los Angeles Clippers defeated Memphis 93-91 thanks to a Chris Paul floater with a tenth of a second remaining for the win.

The Colorado Rockies game with the Atlanta Braves was snowed out Monday night. They will make that up today with a day/night doubleheader at Coors Field. It's the 3rd postponement in the last 8 days for the Rockies at Coors Field. The Braves are down a player as outfielder Jason Heyward underwent an appendectomy in Denver on Monday night. Heyward is hitting .121 with 2 home runs and 5 RBI's.
