NWCC Wins Region IX Tournament.

The Northwest of Powell Lady Trappers won the Region IX junior college volleyball tournament with a 3 games to 2 win over Casper College on Saturday at the Erickson Gym. The Trappers prevailed in the final 25-20, 15-25, 29-27 15-25 and 15-7 to advance to the National Junior College Tournament that will be held at the Casper Events Center November 20-24. It was a valiant day for Casper College. They upset 8th ranked Western Wyoming earlier in the day to advance in the tournament and gave NWCC all they could handle in that final match.
