Peach Basket Classic Tonight: NC VS KW

The Peach Basket Classic pitting Natrona and Kelly Walsh will be tonight from Swede Erickson Gym at Casper College. The girls game is set to tip-off at 6:00 with the pregame show at 5:45 pm on AM 1400 ESPN. The Fillies are 14-6, winners of their last seven games. The Trojans are 4-18. The Fillies lead the Peach Basket series dating back to 1992 12-7, winning last year 50-23. On the boys side the Trojans are coming off their first win of the season over Cheyenne Central last Saturday afternoon, 40-38 and are 1-21 overall. The Mustangs are 14-6. Natrona has dominated the Peach Basket series at 16-3, winning last year 69-58 despite 32 points from Kelly Walsh graduate Lucas Nolan, a Peach Basket scoring mark for the Trojans. All four teams head for their regional tournaments next week. The Trojans are in Sheridan for the East Regional and Natrona goes to Rock Springs for the West Regional.
