Buffalo native and former University of Wyoming football player Chris Prosinski was cut this week by the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars. He was drafted by the Jags in the 4th round back in 2011 and played special teams as well as some defensive secondary situations. Prosinski was injured in Jacksonville's last game against Indianapolis and was expected to miss 2 weeks with elbow and triceps issues. But the Jaguars waived him anyway. Prosinski was a 2 time all conference selection at Wyoming and is a past winner of the Milward Simpson award, given to the states outstanding high school athlete.
