UNDATED (AP) —The Detroit Red Wings will renew their bitter rivalry with the Chicago Blackhawks in the NHL's Western Conference semifinals after taking a seven-game series from Anaheim.

Henrik Zetterberg and Valteri Filppula (val-TEHR'-ee FIHL'-puh-luh) each notched a goal and an assist as the Wings beat the Ducks 3-2 at Anaheim. Justin Abdelkader (AB'-dul-kay-dur) snapped a 1-1 tie with an unassisted goal late in the first period before Filppula added an insurance tally in the second.

Jimmy Howard stopped 31 shots for Detroit, which trailed the series 2-0 and 3-2 before eliminating the second-seeded Ducks.

The New York Rangers and Toronto Maple Leafs have forced Game 7s in the Eastern Conference quarterfinals.

HenrikLundqvist posted his seventh career postseason shutout and Derick Brassard scored the lone goal as the Blueshirts beat the Washington Capitals 1-0 at Madison Square Garden. Lundqvist made 12 of his 27 saves in the third period after Brassard beat Braden Holtby midway through the game.

The Rangers went 0-for-5 on the power play but weren't called for a penalty until the game ended with a scrum in the New York zone.

The home team has won the first six games of the series, which bodes well for the Capitals as they host the series finale on Monday night.

Boston also has a Monday meeting with the Maple Leafs, with the winner taking on Washington or New York in the conference semifinals.

James Reimer stopped 29 shots and the Leafs forced a seventh game by beating the Bruins 2-1. The game was scoreless until James van Riemsdyk (REEMZ'-dyk) assisted on goals by Dion Phaneuf (fah-NUF') and Phil Kessel 7:11 apart in the third period. Reimer continued his shutout bid until Milan Lucic (LOO'-chihch) beat him with just 26 seconds left.
