My son is currently serving in OEF. He is a hero because his lifelong dream was to be a soldier and after overcoming many obstacles he is currently 3.5 years into his "career". His sergeants tell us what a great soldier and leader he is and what a wonderful asset to the Army. He is literally living his dream. He is truly a hero in our eyes.
