Best Known For: A world champion in both the heavyweight and and cruiserweight divisions, Evander Holyfield had a professional boxing record of 44-10-2 from 1984 to 2012. He won the bronze medal as a light heavyweight at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. He became heavyweight champ after defeating Buster Douglas in 1990. Among the fighters Holyfield defeated in his career were Mike Tyson, George Foreman, Larry Holmes, Riddick Bowe, Ray Mercer and Michael Moorer. In his second fight against Tyson, Holyfield had a piece of his ear bitten off by the former champion.
