Profession: Retired NFL Player

Best Known For: A seven-time Pro Bowl quarterback, Y. A. Tittle played for the Baltimore Colts, San Francisco 49ers, and the New York Giants during his career from 1948 to 1964. Tittle won most valuable player awards in 1957, 1961, 1962 and 1963. Tittle threw an NFL record-tying seven touchdown passes in a game in 1962. Tittle is the subject of one of the most famous football photos ever taken — a picture that shows him on his knees, bloodied and without his helmet during a game. Tittle was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1971.

Ron Gardenhire

Profession: MLB Manager

Best Known For: Ron Gardenhire is the manager of the Minnesota Twins. He has skippered the team since 2002, taking over for Tom Kelly, whose staff he served on in Minnesota since 1991. Gardenhire was named American League Manager of the Year in 2010. Gardenhire played for the New York Mets from 1981 to 1985.

Arthur Rhodes

Profession: MLB Pitcher

Best Known For: Arthur Rhodes is a relief pitcher who has played with nine teams since making his major league debut in 1991. Rhodes was named a National League All-Star in 2010 while with the Cincinnati Reds. He was a member of the St. Louis Cardinals’ team that won the World Series in 2011.

Corey Dillon

Age: 38

Profession: Retired NFL Player

Best Known For: A four-time Pro Bowl running back, Corey Dillon played for the Cincinnati Bengals and the New England Patriots during his career from 1997 to 2006. In 2000, Dillon set a then-NFL record for most rushing yards in one game when he ran for 278 yards against the Denver Broncos. He was a member of the Patriots’ team that won Super Bowl XXXIX.

Wayne Rooney

Profession: Soccer Player

Best Known For: Wayne Rooney is a striker for Manchester United and the English national team. He was named PFA Players’ Player of the Year and the FWA Footballer of the Year in 2009-10. At an annual salary of more than $25 million, Rooney is the third highest-paid soccer player in the world after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
