Best Known For: A 10-time All-Star second baseman, Joe Morgan played for the Houston Colt .45′s / Astros, Cincinnati Reds, San Francisco Giants, Philadelphia Phillies and Oakland Athletics from 1963 to 1984. A key member of Cincinnati’s ‘Big Red Machine,’ Morgan was on the Reds’ teams that won both the 1975 and 1976 World Series. Morgan was the Most Valuable Player in the National League for 1975 and 1976. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1990. Since retiring, Morgan has often served as an analyst on baseball broadcasts.

Randy Myers

Best Known For: A four-time All-Star relief pitcher, Randy Myers played for the New York Mets, Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs, Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays from 1985 to 1998. Myers was a member of the Mets’ team that won the 1986 World Series and the Reds’ team that won the 1990 World Series. Part of the ‘Nasty Boys’ Reds’ relief trio along with Rob Dibble and Norm Charlton, Myers was named the Most Valuable Player of the 1990 National League Championship Series. He won the National League Rolaids Relief Man of the Year in 1993 while with the Cubs, and the American League Rolaids Relief Man of the Year in 1997 while with the Orioles.

Best Known For: Formerly a writer for ‘The Baltimore Sun’ and ‘Sports Illustrated,’ Ken Rosenthal is a field reporter for Major League Baseball telecasts on Fox and an insider on MLB Network.

Jim Abbott

Age: 45

Profession: Retired MLB Player

Best Known For: A serviceable major league pitcher who played for 11 seasons despite being born without a right hand, Jim Abbott started games for the California Angels, New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox and Milwaukee Brewers from 1989 to 1999. In 1993, Abbott threw a no-hitter while with the New York Yankees. He was a member of the US Olympic baseball team that won the gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics.

Gio Gonzalez

Best Known For: A two-time All-Star, Gio Gonzalez is a starting pitcher for the Washington Nationals. Prior to being traded to Washington in late 2011, Gonzalez played for the Oakland Athletics from 2008 to 2011.
